How It Works

From repair request to return delivery.

Do not ship your device before receiving approval and the correct shipping instructions.

01

Submit the repair request

Provide the exact device model, problem description, your location, preferred contact method, and clear photos when possible.

02

Request review

We review the repair type, available service, device condition, likely parts, and whether mail-in service is appropriate.

03

Shipping quote and approval

When requested, we calculate an available prepaid shipping rate. You review and approve the cost before the label is issued.

04

Package and ship

Follow the provided packaging instructions, attach the approved label, and keep your tracking and package-condition records.

05

Inspection and repair approval

The device is documented and inspected after arrival. We contact you before completing additional work or changing the approved price.

06

Testing and return shipping

After repair and testing, the final invoice and return shipping are confirmed. The device is returned after required payment is complete.

Prepaid Shipping Quote

Know the shipping cost before a label is issued.

Shipping is calculated individually instead of using a single Canada-wide flat rate. This helps avoid unexpected charges for distance, residential delivery, package size, weight, and carrier service.

1
Send your postal code and device details

Begin with the repair request so we can confirm that the device should be shipped.

2
We calculate the current available rates

The quote uses the shipment address, package measurements, weight, selected carrier service, and applicable charges.

3
You approve before the label is sent

No prepaid label is issued until the shipping option and required payment or approval are confirmed.

Current Process

Request an individual shipping estimate

Submit your mail-in repair request first. After the request is reviewed, we will calculate available shipping options and send the current rate for your approval.

Shipping destination Provided privately after approval
Rate calculation Address, size, weight and service
Prepaid label Issued after approval or payment
Return shipping Confirmed before final delivery
Shipping estimates are based on the information provided and may change if the actual address type, package dimensions, weight, carrier service, declared value, packaging, or applicable surcharges differ.
Packaging Your Device

Protect the device before it enters the carrier network.

The original retail box alone may not provide enough shipping protection. Use a strong outer box and prevent the device from moving inside the package.

Before shipping

Back up important data whenever the device condition allows.
Photograph the device, all sides, the package, and the sealed box.
Turn the device off before packaging unless instructed otherwise.
Wrap the device with suitable protective material and use cushioning on every side.
Place the repair number or requested identification inside the package.
Keep your tracking number, shipping receipt, and package photos.

Do not include unless requested

! SIM cards, memory cards, protective cases, straps, or unrelated accessories
! Chargers, cables, controllers, or power adapters unless needed for testing
! Account passwords or passcodes written loosely inside the package
! Loose batteries or devices with visibly swollen, damaged, leaking, or unsafe batteries without prior approval
! Any additional device or item not listed in the approved repair request
Device Handling

Your device is documented when it arrives.

The package and device condition may be photographed or recorded for intake documentation, repair assessment, quality control, shipping claims, and warranty review. Personal data is accessed only when reasonably required for an approved test or repair.

Arrival documentation

Package and visible device condition may be recorded when the shipment is opened.

Repair authorization

Additional repairs or price changes require customer approval before the work continues.

Data precautions

Customers should maintain backups whenever possible because no repair process can guarantee preservation of data.

Final testing

The repaired function and available basic device functions are tested before return shipping where possible.

Do not ship your device before the mail-in request is approved.

Mail-In Questions

Before sending your device.

These answers summarize the initial process. Device-specific instructions may be provided after your request is reviewed.

Can I ship a device from anywhere in Canada?

Mail-in repair requests may be submitted from across Canada. Acceptance depends on the device, requested service, shipping feasibility, repair risk, and any applicable carrier restrictions.

Can I purchase a prepaid shipping label from iFixAndFlip?

A prepaid label may be offered after the repair request is approved. The available rate is calculated using the shipment address, package dimensions, weight, service level, and applicable charges.

You will receive the shipping cost before the label is issued.

Is the shipping price included in the repair price?

Unless specifically stated in writing, inbound and return shipping are separate from the repair service price. Applicable shipping costs will be shown or approved before the related label or return shipment is arranged.

Can I arrange my own shipping?

Yes, when approved in advance. You remain responsible for selecting the carrier service, packaging the device correctly, keeping the tracking information, and arranging appropriate declared value or shipping protection.

Is the delivery time guaranteed?

No. Carrier delivery estimates are not repair completion guarantees. Weather, carrier operations, remote locations, address issues, service interruptions, and other conditions may affect transit time.

What happens if the device is damaged during shipping?

Shipping claims depend on the carrier, selected coverage, declared value, packaging, shipment records, and applicable carrier terms. Keep clear photos of the device and complete package before shipment.

Should I remove my passcode before shipping?

Access requirements depend on the repair. Do not place passwords loosely inside the package. After approval, we will explain whether device access is reasonably required and how the information should be provided.

When will my device be returned?

Return shipping is arranged after the repair or assessment, required testing, customer approval, and payment of the applicable invoice and shipping charges.

Does a mail-in repair include the same warranty?

Eligible completed repairs receive the applicable 90-day limited repair warranty described in our FAQ & Warranty terms. Shipping, new physical damage, liquid exposure, unrelated faults, and other stated exclusions are not covered as repair workmanship.

Ready to send your repair?

Start with the exact device model, a clear description of the problem, your city or postal code, and photos when possible. We will review the request before providing shipping or drop-off instructions.
